The Club has been the host to KOSAIDO THAILAND OPEN 1992 & PRINCE BERNARD CUP tournaments. PCC is also very conveniently located - 10 minutes out of Phuket town and 15 minutes to Patong Beach!

Awarded ' Best Holes Par-Five ' - Asian Golf Magazine 2001
1. Shan Shui Golf Club - Hole #4/ 2. Bintan LagoonGolf & Beach Resort - Hole #11 (Seaview Course)/ 3. Bukit Pelangi Golf Club - Hole #4/ 4. PHUKETCOUNTRY CLUB - Hole #10/ 5. Mission Hills Golf Club - Hole #7 (World Cup Course)

This is one of the five most beautiful golf courses in Thailand, with a standard 18-hole, 72 -par and 6,483 yards course.   The course has three  distinct characters in some parts it's hilly, in others laced with waterways, and in others it has lush green fairways. Golfers need to be good, and well-prepared,  to perform well on this course. But whatever the score, there's no  doubt at all that golfers will enjoy the lush green fairway.

COUNTRY CLUB COURSE
is a challenging 3575 yards (championship tee) par 37, 9-hole course, particularly suitable for the low handicap golfer. The picturesque beauty of the scenery and layout, somewhat softens the difficulty of the course. Watch out for those wayward shots; all are penalized either landing in water or out-of-bounds. However, with five tee-off boxes at each hole, you have a choice of making it less of an ordeal.

The distinct feature is water- water comes into play 90% of the time. Black swans glide amongst the water lilies taking very little heed of your slices!

(Hint: high handicap golfers, remember to purchase a few dozen second hand balls from the Pro Shop before tee off! You just might need a few!)

Phuket Country Club Facilities

clubhouseAfter the adventurous round of golf, you may welcome a dip in the Club's 25 meter swimming pool- with spa and sauna, and from the bar- icy cold cocktails, beer and refreshing tropical drinks to quench your thirst. Or anyone for tennis?
A fully equipped gymnasium, a pool room, TV and conference rooms are also available.

The Club house offers panoramic views of the course, lakes and surroundings. In the Club house, a five star restaurant offers International and Thai cuisine. The chef will prepare you the juiciest of steaks (imported fresh from Australia) and delicate pastries, or if you prefer, Sukandra will make you a fiery tom-yum, while there is also Tameko who prepares mouth-watering sushi!

Pro Shop is run by Michael Glass, the resident pro from the US and his beautiful wife, Orawan. Mike hits a mean ball (John Daley watch out!). He also provides golf clinics- guaranteed to rectify those dreaded slices! He has an extensive range of golfing equipment from gold tees to monogrammed balls, clubs, big berthas, bags, golf wear and golfing memorabilia. He will sell you anything, even Thai lucky charms- to make you win those crucial golfing bets! A visit to his pro shop is a must!

LAYOUT HOLE  #1 - Par 4:
336 Y   318 Y   279 Y

TEE TO GREEN
A short Par 4 to open your Round. The more adventure some can hit the ball left over a ravine, which will let you see the green. The more conventional play is to hit it to the right side of the fair-way leaving a short but blind shot to the green.

Hint : Use one club less on the approach as most shots bounce forward toward  the green.

LAYOUT HOLE  #2 - Par 3:
184 Y   162 Y   145 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Straight forward Par 3 - small green - major concern is the wind could be as much as two club difference.

LAYOUT HOLE  #3 - Par 5:
493 Y   486 Y   468 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Dogleg Par 5 safe way to make 5 is iron off the tee - iron over the OB and the short iron to the green.

LAYOUT HOLE  #4 - Par 4:
388 Y   375 Y   358 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Difficult par 4 - you can hit thru the fairway and go OB. Play one more club on second shot. Aim left on second shot right is OB.

Hint : Alignment/on tee shot is very important.

LAYOUT HOLE  #5 - Par 3 :
154 Y   145 Y   125 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Par(3) - wind is usually opposite of hole no. 2 - Green has some severe breaks. Be careful on short putt.

LAYOUT HOLE  #6 - Par 4:
348 Y   334 Y   290 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Narrow fairway - short hole keep the ball in play - trouble left and right. Green is fast back to the front - slow front to back.

LAYOUT HOLE  #7 - Par 4:
344 Y   326 Y   394 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Sand abounds, left - right by the green - 3 level green - keep the ball in the fairway. Green slopes from the left to right - Putting is very difficult on this hole.

LAYOUT HOLE  #8 - Par 4:
428 Y   400 Y   375 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Long Par 4 - small green - ball will not roll on the green. You must carry ball to green.

LAYOUT HOLE  #9 - Par 5:
510 Y   495 Y   448 Y

TEE TO GREEN

A solid Par 5 reachable in two by the long hitter - but an errant second shot will put them in the sand - a good gamble.
Target from tee is over the tree on the right side of fairway - hit it hard.

LAYOUT HOLE  #10 - Par 5:
557 Y   512 Y   478 Y

TEE TO GREEN

" Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink " over the lake or around it that is the question.

LAYOUT HOLE  #11 - Par 4:
375 Y   357 Y   345 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Dogleg left aim at 150 yards - stake left edge of fairway - elevated green - but two trap | guard right side - ball normally plugs in these traps.

LAYOUT HOLE  #12 - Par 4:
350 Y   330 Y   327 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Narrow landing area - second shot to blind green surrounded by bunkers - green is elevated and narrow - wind is normally a factor. Have Fun!.

LAYOUT HOLE  #13 - Par 4:
405 Y   390 Y   380 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Par 4 not quite as it appears from tee - when you avoid the poles on the left - be careful of lateral water hazard on the right. It catches many a golf ball.

LAYOUT HOLE  #14 - Par 3 :
185 Y   167 Y   150 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Good Par 3 - Play the right side of green. Green slopes back to front - very slow going up the hill.

LAYOUT HOLE  #15 - Par 4:
423 Y   405 Y   387 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Long Par 4 . OB left and right. Aim right of double tree - green is  50 yards front to back.

LAYOUT HOLE  #16 - Par 4:
327 Y   311 Y   299 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Short Par 4 with water - lay up off tee about 200 yards. Aim at two trees and this will leave a 120 yards to green.

Hint : Green is long with a valley - just pass center. Tough putting.

LAYOUT HOLE  #17 - Par 3:
143 Y   139 Y   117 Y

TEE TO GREEN

Island Green Par 3 - play it as you see it! A 54-yards green and wind is a big factor. You may win a closest to the pin with a 100 foot putt.
Hint : Don't be too adventuresome. Put it on the green - not a good gamble hole.

LAYOUT HOLE  #18 - Par 4:
TEE TO GREEN

Classic uphill Par 5 finishing hole. Hit a fade off the tee. A wood up the fairway and iron to the green. Toughest putting green on the course.

Hint : Green breaks right to left. Very fast right to left-quick top to bottom - ideal spot below the hole on the left.
